the soul of
african wildlife

This year, the exhibition took place on the evening before my departure for Zambia. It was a dramatic act of timing, and a wonderful event just before my next adventure began. Because of the newly expanded product selection – paper sketchbooks and graphic lanterns were offered for the first time – we were able to increase the donations by about 30% and I was able to board the flight to Africa with a fundraising check worth more than 3,000 USD. A few days later, in the summery heat of the Luangwa Valley, I gave the check directly to Rachel, the director of Conservation South Luangwa (CSL). CSL is a non-profit organization that has been active in wildlife conservation for over 10 years and plays an important role in preserving the unique ecosystem and protecting the animals from poachers. I would like to express my boundless gratitude to the exhibition visitors and the tireless crew of helpers who supported me before and during the show.
